Soo...quick notice: Chat style or posting style?

I'm fine with either. I kinda prefer post style, myself, since I write so much action. Only so much can fit in asteriks.

Okay! Post style it is. Would you like to start us off, then?

just whatever, I suppose! by the way, I think the adult Hermione model is very fitting. I'm putting that here cause the cBox isn't working.

Victoire found herself to be slightly confused by the odd incident a few minutes ago. She had run into a rather sad looking, but pretty woman. All she had done was ask if she was all right and then the woman just Apparated off.
Shaking her head, she pulled the photo out of her pocket. She was almost certain that it belonged to the woman, but it wasn't as if she could hunt her down. She didn't even know who the hell it was. She was sure she'd want it back; it was a nice picture. Although perhaps that was only because the boy in it was rather handsome.
Opening the door to "The Nest", she called out, "Hello?"

Hermione was beginning to regret picking up her case files from her office this morning. Hugo'd caught some little 24-hour bug so Hermione sent in her Patronus to inform the head of her department she wouldn't be in today. She did, however, Apparate to her office and pick up the cases she had to work on. She seemed to have acquired a good deal more than usual, and knew that leaving them to sit for a day would hurt her in the long run. Pushing away from the kitchen table to make herself another cup of coffee, she sighed heavily, wishing she'd let herself get behind. It was only noon, but she was already worn out from working and taking care of Hugo at the same time.
Needless to say, she was grateful for the distraction of Victoire coming in. "I'm in the kitchen!" she called back, hoping the noise wasn't enough to wake Hugo up. He'd finally fallen asleep and she wanted it to stay that way. Not that she was trying to neglect her son, but the more he slept the more chance he had to get better quicker.

Victoire sighed of relief. "Oh good, for a second there I thought everyone wasn't here. You know, the lack of your kids rushing up to give their favourite cousin a hug," she joked as she walked to the kitchen with a wry smile. Her eyes widened at the sight of numerous case files. "Whoa, seems that there are quite a few people in trouble lately, eh?"

Hermione chuckled, sitting back down at the kitchen table and motioning for Victoire to take a seat as well. "Well, Rosie's at Hogwarts, which you know, and Hugo's come down with a little cold. He's upstairs sleeping for now." She nodded at her niece's statement, rubbing her forehead. "Yes, there certainly are. And they all want me defending their sorry bums. I love the fact that people think I'd be able to win their case, but this much work is exhausting."

Victoire nodded. "Of course I know about Rosie..." She frowned at the answer about Hugo. "Oh, poor little thing. Send him my love if he's not up while I'm still here." She looked over her aunts shoulder and shook her head. "Well, at least they're making a smart choice."

Lily walked up to the front door with her mother, Ginny. They were going to visit the Weasleys and she was excited. When they got halfway up the front path, Lily ran ahead. She wanted to ring the bell and waited for her mother. "Can I ring the bell, Mummy? Please?"

"I would certianly hope so, considering you were there when we put her on the train," Hermione replied, smiling. She nodded at Victoire's request. "I will. I hope he stays asleep. It's so odd. When he's feeling fine, it's all we can do to keep him awake. He's sick, and his mind won't let him rest." She shook her head. The human body worked in strange ways. She smiled again, shaking her head. "Thank you, but there are plenty of lawyers in my department that are ten times better than I am. They just have yet to do something that puts them in the public eye. After my working with the House Elves ... Yeah, you get the point. Lord, that sounded vain. So sorry."
Ginny chuckled as Lily ran ahead of her, bouncing excitedly. Little ball of energy she was. Course, with both her brothers at Hogwarts and no one around to play with at nine, she supposed anyone would be a ball of energy. "Yes, you can ring the bell. Just once, though. Aunt Hermione's not deaf yet, she'll hear it."

Victoire raised an eyebrow. "That is odd. Poor Hugo." She shook her head as she sat herself down, her chin in her hands. "Lots of odd things today. Hugo can't sleep, I run into this weeping woman...very odd, very odd." Then she remembered the picture. "Oh!" She pulled it out of her pocket. "Actually, said woman dropped this before she Apparated. I have no clue how to get it back to her and I have a feeling she'd want it."

Lily smiled brightly. "Yay!" she exclamed and pressed her small pointer finger to the doorbell. She then went back and stood next to her mother. She took her mother's hand and smiled up at her. "Mummy, why does Daddy always work late?"
