Ron apparated into the Nest's front yard. He'd taken the afternoon off of work because Hugo was in sick and Hermione would probably spend the whole day she'd taken off working. "Gin! Lily! Come in!" Ron let the two into the house behind him. "Hermione?"

"Hiya Uncle Ron!" Lily said giving her uncle a quick hug. "How are you?" She smiled up at her uncle brightly.
((sorry it's under a paragraph))

Hermione tilted her head at Victoire's story. "Weeping woman?" she echoed, moving over to look at the picture she pulled out. She gasped quietly, recognizing the subject of the photo. "Oh dear," she murmured. She'd assumed Cho would've moved on by now ... Apparently not.
She jumped slightly as the doorbell echoed through the house. Casting a quick glance to the ceiling and listening a moment to see if she heard Hugo, she got up and went to answer it. About halfway there, the door opened and Ron strode in, telling Ginny and Lily to come in behind him. "In the kitchen!" she called over her shoulder as she sat back down, pulling the manila folder over to her.
Ginny chuckled at Lily's enthusiasm, joining her on the porch. her daughter was so easily amused. It was a good trait, though. Meant she didn't get bored easily. She thought a moment at Lily's question, choosing her words carefully. "Daddy's got a lot of important work to do, and sometimes it keeps him out late." She jumped as Ron apparated behind them, raising a brow. "You're home early," she commented as she followed him in. "Hermione as well? What's wrong?"

"I'm well. Hugo is ill," Ron answered, nodding to Ginny. He made his way into the kitchen, noticing Hermione slowly being swallowed by a large mound of legal documents. "You look like you're having fun," he said, kissing her on the top of the head. "How you find fun in paperwork I never will truly understand."

Ginny frowned sympathetically. "Oh, that's not good. Nothing serious I hope?" She smiled at the exchange between Ron and Hermione, nodding in agreement with her brother. "How you take pleasure in any work amazes me, but, then again, you've always been that way."
Hermione chuckled at Ron's statement, nodding her head gently. "Oh yeah. Loads of fun this is. You should be sorry you're missing out," she replied with a half-smile. She rolled her eyes gently at his comment. "Don't necessarily find fun in it, just try and make it as bearable as possible." She shook her head in response to Ginny's question. "No, nothing too horrible, just a cold. Enough to keep him in bed, though. I wanted to stay home to make sure it didn't get any worse."

((Okay. Last post for the day. I'll wait for everyone before I post again. )) Ron sat in the chair next to his wife, picking up random files before tossing them back across the table. "This is ridiculous. I can't make sense of any of this. How the hell do you do it?" He paused to laugh and ruffle Hermione's hair. "That's right, I nearly forgot. Brightest witch of your age. Bloody brilliant, at that."

((Okie doke. )) Hermione was slightly miffed by Ron's picking up and tossing of her files, but did a fairly good job at hiding it, simply picking them up and putting them back in their respective piles. She worked better when the files were organized in some way. "It's just like me not understanding a lot of what you do in the Auror office. The legal system pretty much has its own language. I'm required to make sense of it, or I wouldn't be at all good at my job." She grinned at his comment, blushing a bit. "I wouldn't go that far," she mumbled.

She walked into the house behind her uncle and then they got to the kitchen, Lily's face brightened with a smile. "Aunt Hermione!" she said and hugged her aunt. Then she saw Victoire. "Victoire!" she went over to her cousin and hugged her.

((Going on ahead. Sorry...my Ron!Muse just couldn't wait any more. He's kind of pushy.))
Ron grinned at Lily for a quick moment. She was a cute kid. And also related to him, which made him proud of his friend and his sister. His attentions soon went back to his wife, who still appeared to be working. "I would," Ron whispered in response, low enough so only she could hear it. He kissed her temple and surveyed the large number of files again.

((Hermione!Muse doesn't mind at all. lol))
Hermione smied again, wider this time, still staring down at the file in front of her. "You're supposed to," she replied cheekily, trying not to laugh. "If you don't, my self-estem goes downthe toilet," she teased, glancing up at him for a moment. Going back to her work, she massaged her forehead after another few minutes, setting her quill down. "Ugh, this is giving me a headache," she said quietly, pulling her knees up to her chest and resting her chin on them.

Ron laughed quietly, keeping one eye fixed on Hermione and looking out of the corner of his other one at his sister and his nieces. "Oh really, am I? I'm don't just say it because I think it's damned true? I just say it because I'm supposed to?" He continued to watch her work until she claimed she had a headache. "Put it down. That's the point of getting off work. You don't work. Put the quill down and tell me that you're happy to see me home."

Hermione laughed as well, shaking her head gently. "I never said you didn't think it was true," she defended herself weakly, blushing slightly. "I was simply picking on you a bit." She laughed again at his telling her to put the quill down, closing the file and stacking it neatly with the others in the middle of the table. "Alright, I'm done. And of course I'm glad to see you home," she said, reaching over to take his hand. "That should go without saying."

Victoire was distracted from her Aunt Hermione's reaction to the photo when just about the rest of the family walked in. She beamed as her little cousin, Aunt Ginny and Uncle Ron walked in. "Heya guys!"
She watched the exchange between Ron and Hermione with a wide smile as always. They never failed to make her squeal, but they also never failed to make her mind wander to Teddy. What on earth was she waiting for anyway? She had been completely infatuated with him for ages now. So why wasn't she saying something?

"Picking on me? Oh, all right, I get it. You just be careful for when I decide to retaliate. Because you know I will. Now, promise me that you'll stop working. You're going to drive yourself mental. Not that you already weren't, but still..." Ron snorted and kissed the side of her jaw. "But that's just you. Now stop working."

Hermione giggled, nodding. "I know you will. You do realize that sometimes I pick on you simply because you'll retaliate, correct?" she asked, raising a brow. She nodded again, rolling her eyes good-naturedly. "I promise, I'm done for today. I've been working since bloody eight in the morning as well as taking care of Hugo. There's only so muchI can do, and our children come first. I'm done." She pouted at his mental comment, crossing her arms over her chest. Sniffling a bit, she tried not to laugh, hoping he wouldn't catch her bluff.
