Name: Charles “Charlie” Weasley
Age: 45
Occupation: Dragon Keeper/Musician
Appearance (when not using a picture, be thorough- 1-2 paragraph. min):
With Mariska in Romania
Family: Charlie is one of the many Weasley children. His brothers include Bill, George, Percy, Ron and his little sister Ginny. His parents are the infamous Arthur and Molly Weasley. And while he is close with his family he has always lived so far away from them that a few things slipped through the cracks. Ok, one big thing slipped through the crack.
Personality: Charlie is the so called “gentle giant” of the family. He is the bulkiest of the family but his demeanor is nothing but politeness and kindness. Of course, this may change when a good joke comes to mind. He is a Weasley after all. But when you see Charlie at his most “normal state” he’s calm probably strumming at his muggle guitar or catching up on the latest about dragons.
Brief History (if you are using someone else's summarization, please cite it):
Charlie is the second of Molly and Arthur Wesley’s children and is one of the most famous of them. This is because before Harry Potter came around, he was the best Gryffindor Seeker that there was. He could have become a professional no problem, but he preferred to work with dragons. His work brought him all the way out to Romania. And while he missed his family, he loved what he was doing. Also, he tried to visit at least once a year. After the war offically broke out, Charlie came back home to help protect his family from the Dark Lord. And while he did survive the death of Fred still weighs heavy on his mind as it does with all of the Weasleys.
A year after the war, Charlie returned to Romania having no intent of ever returning to England. And he didn’t very often. He send letter and photographs every month to appease his family, but he had enough of English life. Romania seemed to be a quiet refuge. The only time that he returned was for the birth of his niece Victorie, Rose, Lily and his nephews Hugo, James, and Albus Severous. These visits themselves were short as he was eager to return back to Romania.
But he had been leaving something out of his letters. Charlie got married to a Romanian girl around the same year that Rose was born. Her name was Mariska. And while he loved her deeply, he felt like he was protecting her by not discussing her with his family. Now, Charlie is coming home to England for good and leaving Romania behind. Mariska was killed in the Keep.
Things Worth Mentioning: Charlie was the “golden boy.” He always behaved and did what he was told. While most people found this annoying, it was the natural part of his personality.
*RP Sample:
Charlie stared at the Burrow with a vague recollection. He remembered growing up there, watching Bill get married there, visiting his various nieces and nephews there. But it still was different than it was before. Maybe it was because he wasn’t the shiny young man that he used to be. Now he was middle aged and bordering on bitter. The Burrow did seem to loose some of its natural light. Charlie took a deep breath, his hands in his pockets and his guitar on his back. “Time to face the music…” He whispered to himself as he walked towards the house prepared for shrieks from his mother later to be followed by pummeling. Home sweet home.
If your character is canon and this applies to you...
Character traits that you have added (ie, Hermione can't eat alphabet soup because the scrambled letters drive her crazy): He has picked up the guitar as he was always a fan of music. It’s something that him in Mariska had in common, and that brought them together. Charlie also got along best with the twins out of his brothers and sister. He’s also fiercely protective of Ginny.
