Name: Rose 'Rosie' Weasley
Age: 11
Occupation:
1st Year Student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry
Appearance:
Rose is not tall for her age, and stands at about 4' 10". She has received her mother's often wild brown hair, her father's blue eyes and his prominent freckles. Rose is not girly by any means, but she doesn't go out of her way to make it seem that way.
Family:
Daughter to Ron and Hermione Weasley, sister of Hugo Weasley, niece of the Weasley clan and Harry and Ginevra Potter, granddaughter to Arthur and Molly Weasley.
Personality:
Rose shows a curiosity for everything and everything, and is often finding herself in situations she would rather not have been in. Even if something seems offputting to her, she'll try it just to say she did. She is very eager and willing to do anything, which can often lead to impatience.
Rose is very clever, as her mother is, and will never miss an opportunity to learn something- especially if she's learning from a mistake. She is almost as incredibly precocious as her mother was. Another main characteristic of hers, picked up from her father, is her sense of humor. She'll laugh at nearly anything and loves to make jokes.
Rose shows an immense loyalty to her friends and her family and fears disappointing them more than anything else.
Brief History:
Rose was born in 2006, eight years after the fall of Voldemort and the epic 'Final Battle' to Ron and Hermione Weasley. As an infant, Rose displayed her incredible talents for trouble and for learning and got herself into anything and everything- including magic. Crawling along the floor, she could often be found dragging the wands of her parents behind her to create paths of flowers that grew out of the carpets.
When Rose was two, her brother Hugo was born, even further extending her immediate family. The number of aunts, uncles, and cousins she had was too high for her to count to.
Rose's first self-induced magic was when she was five years old. During a bout of jealousy at her brother, a temper tantrum caused all of the objects in his room to shake violently. This event, however frightening to her young brother, meant 7 years of schooling at Hogwarts.
Her father, Ron, helped to ignite her passion for Quidditch when he gave Rose her first broom (the MiniNimubs) for the Christmas before her 8th birthday. There were many dents in the walls of the house for awhile while she learned to ride.
At bedtimes, Rose's parents would often tell her stories of their childhood disguised as children's tales passed down from family. As of yet, Rose hasn't discovered that those are really the stories of her parents, but maybe she will...
Things Worth Mentioning:
*Rose has always wanted to be a Gryffindor. The one thing that she believes would ruin school for her is getting into any other house.
*Rose loves old Celestina Warbeck tunes.
*Rose has always loved Quidditch. Her favorite teams are the Holyhead Harpies and the Chudley Cannons. Her position is Keeper, like her father.
*Rose is often restless, and almost never sleeps in her own bed. She prefers the living room furniture.
*Rose enjoys Astronomy, DADA, and Charms. Her least favorite class is Divination.

"Dad," Rose started, taking her father's hand as she walked into King's Cross for the second time in her life (the first time was when she said goodbye to James), "are you sure I'm going to be a Gryffindor? I mean, I might not be, because...well, you know. And I don't want to be a Slytherin, because you said Slytherins are bad. And I don't want to be a Hufflepuff. Because I haven't heard anything special about them. No offense or anything, if you knew one."
Ron laughed. "I've already told you, Rosie, you can't come home for Christmas if you get into Slytherin."
A look of shock and fear crossed Rose's face. "Daddy? You don't think I'll be a Slytherin, do you?"
"Not sure, really."
"DADDY!"
Ron squeezed her hand. "I wouldn't worry about it too much, though. You know the hat takes your choice into account?"
Rose stopped walking for a moment as she thought about this. "I've never heard that before, Dad. Are you sure?"
"Yep. That's what your Uncle Harry did. Now, quick- don't want to miss the train, do we?" And with that, Ron pushed her by her shoulders through the brick wall that led to Platform 9 and 3/4.
